Community College/Vocational Schools
There are no specific course admission requirements, although a strong high school program is recommended. To enroll, a student must be a high school graduate, have passed the California Proficiency Examination, or be 18 years old. Students entering community college with the intention to transfer to a four-year college are strongly advised to complete a high school course program like that of their classmates applying directly to a four-year college from high school.
To be a competitive applicant you should complete a
challenging program that prepares you well beyond these minimum
requirements. You must complete the
high school subjects below with at least a “C” grade in each course.
