Carlsbad Softball – 2008 Spring Season
The Carlsbad Softball
Association is looking for volunteers for the upcoming 2008 Spring Season. CSA is a girls fastpitch softball league for
girls ages 5-16. Help is needed with
player evaluations, opening day, snack bar, field prep, pay to play, assistant
coaching and the Seabreeze Tournament.

Aviara Oaks Variety Show – April 3rd
Are you creative? The AOE School is having a “Let’s Go Retro”
Variety Show. Needed are choreographers,
set designers, backstage leaders, directors and assistants and sound crew
assistants. The show is Thursday at

Hands – On University – on going
Would you like to help
children in your community? Work with
children ages 3-5 years old and work on classroom projects and improve literacy
for young children. Volunteer
opportunities will start immediately and continue through the remainder of the

Imagine Carlsbad – 4th Monday of
each month
Imagine Carlsbad is a
grass roots citizen committee with a vision “Creating the Future of Carlsbad
Together.” Their Mission is “We are an
apolitical group of citizen’s working together for the future of Carlsbad to
improve the overall quality of life.”
Students are invited to participate in meetings that are held on the 4th
Monday of each month from 6:30-8:30pm at the Carlsbad Senior Center, 799 Pine
