For 9^TH GRADE STUDENTS

who will be NEW TO THE CARLSBAD UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT

in September 2006:

Registration packets for the fall 2006-2007school year for will be available for pickup after Monday, March 20.  

They must be completed with residency verification, student’s immunization records, last report card and any standardized testing from the middle school, as well as recommendation letters from teachers for honors placement.

When the registration packet is complete and has been turned in with all of the aforementioned documents, an appointment will be made for the 8^th grade orientation program held on April 4^th and 6^th.  

Students from Aviara Oaks, Calevera, and Valley Middle schools will automatically be invited to this event via a letter sent to parents. The counselors will be going to these schools in late March to discuss their registration.

who will be NEW to the Carlsbad Unified School District

in September 2006:

Registration will not be available until after June 1.
