Valley Middle School PTA

It is hard to believe that school has been in session for almost a month! The VMS PTA membership campaign is winding down. Many of you joined the PTA during registration and we thank you for that. If you have not joined the PTA, you will have the opportunity to do so at Back to School Night. If you are unable to attend, please stop in the office and pick up a membership/volunteer form. With you membership we fund many important programs at VMS including teacher mini-grants, campus beautification, and the student newsletter. We also provide financial assistance for the art show, the college fair and staff appreciation events. With all of these projects we need your support both financially and physically.

At Back to School Night you will also have the opportunity to sign up for EScrip. Please remember to bring your Vons card. It is a quick easy way for our PTA to earn money and it doesn’t cost you a dime!

Our first PTA General Meeting is scheduled for October 16. Please join us for an informative discussion about campus safety. Keith Holley, the CUDS director of student safety, and Officer Zavalla, our school resource offices and a member of the Carlsbad PD will be on hand to answer your questions. The meeting will be held in the MU at 8am.
